Bereavement & Loss Support
Grief and loss can feel overwhelming, isolating, and almost impossible to put into words. Whether you are grieving a death, the end of a relationship, or a significant life change, there is no right or wrong way to feel.
Therapy offers a safe, confidential space to talk honestly, be heard without judgement, and find your way through — at whatever pace feels right for you.

Grief & Bereavement
How Therapy Can Help After Bereavement and Loss
Grief does not follow a schedule, and it does not look the same for everyone. Therapy offers a quiet, consistent space where you can speak openly — without feeling like a burden, without being told to "move on", and without any pressure to feel differently than you do.
A Space to Speak Freely
Everything shared in sessions is held in complete confidence. You can talk honestly — about grief, sadness, numbness, anger, guilt, or confusion — without worrying about upsetting those around you.
Making Sense of What You Feel
Grief can surface in unexpected ways — affecting sleep, relationships, concentration, or daily routines. Therapy can help you begin to understand your experience and find steadier ground.
No Timeline, No Pressure
There is no fixed timeline for grief. Whether your loss is recent or long-standing, you are welcome here. Sessions move at your pace, guided by what feels manageable for you.
Beyond Bereavement After Death
Loss takes many forms — the end of a relationship, a career change, a diagnosis, or a shift in identity. This kind of grief is equally real and equally deserving of support.
Getting Started
What to Expect When You Begin
If you've never been to therapy before, or if a past experience left you feeling uncertain, it's completely natural to feel unsure about taking this step. Here's how it works with me. There's no jargon, no pressure, and no judgement — just a clear, gentle process designed entirely around you.
01
01 – The Discovery Session
A free session of up to 60 minutes — a no-pressure conversation by phone or online. This is simply a chance for us to meet, for you to ask anything you need to, and for us both to see if I can support you in your journey. There's no obligation whatsoever.
02
02 – The First Full Session
We set the pace together. This session is about understanding what brought you here, what you need, and agreeing how we'll work together. You're in control from the very start.
03
03 – The Ongoing Conversation
Regular sessions where we explore deeper themes, build insight, and develop tools you can carry into everyday life. Some weeks will feel lighter; others may feel more challenging. Both are part of the process.
04
04 – Moving Forward
Therapy doesn't last forever. When you feel more resilient, more equipped, and more like yourself again, we'll plan a thoughtful ending together — so you leave feeling strong, not stranded.
When you reach out, I'll respond personally and take the time to understand what you're looking for. From there, we can decide together whether to begin with a discovery call or move straight into a first session. Nothing is rushed. Everything is led by you.

Confidentiality
What you share stays between us. I adhere to the UKCP Ethical Standards, meaning your words are held with the utmost care and discretion at all times.
Professionalism
I attend regular clinical supervision and store all personal data in full compliance with ICO regulations. Your information is always handled with rigorous care.

Whether you choose to meet me in person at my consulting rooms in Kenilworth or Coventry, or connect online from the comfort of your own home, your safety and comfort come first.
